Logicalis, a global provider of information and communication technologies services and solutions, has expanded activities and reached Puerto Rico, its first operation in the Caribbean.

The new operation comes to meet the demand of regional clients, who are also expanding their presence in Latin America, and aligned with Logicalis customer-centric strategy, which positions the clients’ needs as a propeller of their own business strategies.

The new unit is composed of local professionals and supported by processes and technical and commercial resources of the entire region, which ensures a robust operation, capable of meeting current and future needs of Caribbean clients.

“Our arrival to Puerto Rico will further reinforce the region’s importance for Logicalis global business. The Latin America operation is increasingly relevant for the company, not only financially, but also in regard to the development of innovative solutions that are even being exported to other continents”, says Rodrigo Parreira, Logicalis CEO for Latin America.

The executive also states that the company is committed and will act with partners to help rebuild Puerto Rico’s technology and telecommunications infrastructure, severely affected by the hurricanes that hit the country in the past few months.

Logicalis already operates in ten Latin America countries: Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. In the last fiscal year (FY17), finished in February 28th, the company’s revenue totaled US$ 424,4 million in the region – a 2,1% growth in relation to the previous year.
