PromonLogicalis and Ixia to present network attack simulation at Futurecom 2016

, Out 13, 2016

Just after announcing an agreement with Ixia to offer network security, testing and visibility solutions to the corporate, data center and service providers’ markets, PromonLogicalis, information and communication technologies services and solutions provider for Latin America, and Ixia will present these solutions at Futurecom, to be held from October 17th to 20th in Sao Paulo.

At the event, the companies will demonstrate at booth number C22, main street, the potential of Ixia’s solutions, which have recently been added to PromonLogicalis’ portfolio. During the demonstration, the company will simulate a network attack, generated by Ixia’s PerfectStorm ONE™. To fight off the attack, the company will use Ixia’s ThreatARMOR™, the fastest way to dramatically reduce your network’s attack surface. ThreatARMOR sits in front of all network devices. It installs in minutes and immediately blocks traffic from known bad IP addresses.

The companies will also demonstrate a comprehensive network visibility solution that allows filtering and monitoring malicious traffic, increasing effective detection of malicious applications or unusual activities. Its graphic interface offers real-time visibility and the ability to filter, decode and send information to forensic labs, which will feed the equipment’s database.

Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Scott Register, Ixia’s vice president of product management, who has a great deal of expertise in the information security market.  Register will present “Perspectives of evolution and the future of network security and visibility”, on October 19th at 3:20pm in Auditorium Argentina.
