In Brazil, company achieved net revenue of R$ 928 million, 32% more than in previous period.
Logicalis Latin America, provider of information and communication technologies services and solution for Latin America, announced today its financial results for the 2014 fiscal year, ended in February. Once again, the company celebrates a year with double-digit growth and registers, for Latin America, net revenue of US$ 551 million, which represents an increase of 15% in relation to last fiscal year.
In Brazil, the company’s revenue for the period was R$ 928 million, 32% more in a year-to-year comparison basis. “Once again, we achieve great results in Brazil, what allows us to maintain growth in the region despite the current economic scenario in Argentina”, said Rodrigo Parreira, CEO for Logicalis Latin America. “Also noteworthy is the growth in the Andean region, where net revenue doubled in relation to the previous year”.
Latin American operations maintain extremely relevant participation in Logicalis Group’s business, responsible for 35% of revenue and 52% of EBTIDA registered by the group worldwide. Globally present, Logicalis Group counts with more than 3 thousand employees and revenue of US$ 1.55 billion.
Logicalis Latin America’s strategic direction continues to be portfolio diversification both in terms of partnerships and solutions and business model. In this sense, the company has invested in strengthening managed services offerings and developing competencies for integrating software solutions, especially to meet the demands generated by the third technological platform.
“Our goal has been to materialize in innovative projects information and communication technologies’ potential with society transforming elements”, said Parreira. “Themes such as Internet of Things, SDN and smart cities are very interesting opportunities for a company with such a broad portfolio and level of market knowledge like ours. We want to be the main partner for our clients in this transition moment”.
One of Logicalis’ strategic pillars to continue to grow in the region is the consolidation of is presence throughout Latin America. In this sense, the company has been taking several actions, which include acquisitions in Colombia and Ecuador in 2012, a new office in Mexico at the end of 2013 and the restructuration of some operations.
For the next few months, the goal is to expand business in potential markets, such as Chile, Colombia and Peru and announce the first relevant contracts in Mexico. “We have several partners with presence in more than one country in the region and we’re ready to work with them with the same quality of service and efficiency throughout Latin America”, ensures Parreira.
